Comments
We take your personal information seriously and are committed to protecting your privacy. If a visitor leaves a comment on the site (if that feature is enabled), we collect the information provided in the comment form (e.g., name, email and website), as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string, in order to assist in spam detection. Upon approval of your comment, the profile picture associated with your email address (Gravatar) will be publicly visible next to the comment.
Multimedia content
Currently this site does not allow users to upload multimedia files publicly. If such a possibility exists (e.g. in a content management system), we recommend not to include embedded location data (EXIF GPS metadata) in the uploaded images, as any visitor could extract such information when downloading the images.
Cookies
Our site uses various types of cookies in accordance with European legislation. Specifically:
- Technical or functional cookies: necessary for the basic operation of the website and to remember user preferences. Without these cookies, parts of the website would not function properly (for example, products would remain in the shopping cart).
- Statistics cookies: used to collect information about the use of the website and optimize the user experience. These anonymous cookies help analyze site traffic and performance. To place them we require the user's prior consent.
- Marketing/tracking cookies: used to create user profiles and display personalized advertising or track the user on this and other sites for marketing purposes.
- Embedded social media content: we have integrated elements from Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok and Facebook (e.g. "Like" buttons or galleries). This embedded content includes code from these platforms and stores its own cookies. It is possible that these social networks process information anonymously for advertising purposes. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these networks for more details.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content from third parties (e.g., videos, images or posts). Such embedded content behaves as if the visitor is browsing the relevant external site. These external sites may collect data about you, use their own additional cookies, incorporate third-party tracking, and monitor user interaction with the embedded content.
With whom we share your data
We use specialized third-party platforms to provide our services. Among them are:
- Stripe: payment processing platform. The data necessary to process a payment (card, etc.) are transmitted to Stripe in accordance with its privacy policy.
- WooCommerce: online store software that manages the catalog and orders. According to the published information, WooCommerce usage data is not shared with external third parties.
- Elementor: site content builder. It is also stated that anonymous data collected by Elementor is not shared with third parties.
- Social networks: as Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok and Facebook are integrated, interaction with such content may transmit data to the servers of these platforms (e.g., to process "Likes" or share content).
- Other Analytics (tracking): we use Sourcebuster JS for visitor statistics. The policy informs that the data collected by this tool is not shared with third parties.
How long we keep your data
Our terms emphasize that "we take your personal data very seriously". We establish the following standard practices:
- Registered users: For those who create an account on the site, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. This information is retained for as long as the account exists and until the user requests deletion.
All registered users can view, edit or delete their personal data at any time (except for the user name, which is unchangeable). Site administrators can also view and manage user profiles.
What rights do you have over your data
The company expressly recognizes the rights of users regarding their personal data. Specifically, you have the following rights:
- Right of rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): erase your personal data.
- Right of portability: request the transfer of your data to another data controller.
- Right of opposition: to oppose the processing of your data.
- Withdrawal of consent: when you have given your consent to process data, you may revoke it at any time.
- Right of access: to know what data we process about you.
To exercise any of these rights, you may contact us using the contact details at the end of this document. In particular, you have the right to request that we send you a file containing all your personal data that we hold, as well as to request the deletion of such data. This does not include information that we are legally obliged to retain (for administrative, legal or security reasons).
Where your data is sent
The policy does not explicitly detail other data destinations beyond those mentioned. However, it is common for user comments to be analyzed by automated spam detection services. As noted, payment data is sent to Stripe and embedded content involves certain data (e.g. social interactions) reaching the relevant platforms.
